September 12

SEPTEMBER 12 is a new opera by Ralph Piss, and it is COMING SOON and you've got to see it! It attempts to capture, in glorious music, the way we all felt on September 12, 2001: Paralyzed with fear, willing to go along with anything, too terrified to question authority! With September 12, Ralph Piss, the "Conservative King of All Media," will make us feel that way again. The entire opera was composed by Mr. Piss on his instrument of choice, the harmonica. It is definitely going to be THE GREAT AMERICAN OPERA, and it will show the godless Europeans that AMERICANS KNOW HOW TO DO OPERA RIGHT! As Piss writes in the haunting title aria:

It's September 12.
September 12, come on!
Jesus Christ, September 12!
And it feels like September 11
was only yesterday.
